Single
Day Tour
We leave Coyhaique in the morning to do a tour of
the different valley systems of the region, all dotted
with impressive lakes and picturesque lagoons which
flow into streams and waterfalls. We will head to
Atrevesado Lake, which due to its proximity to the
coast is surrounded by lush rainforest. Further on,
a waterfall cascades down the mountainside. We will
continue our trip passing the 6 lagoons until we reach
Elizalde Lake, which is one of the most important
in the area due to its size and picturesque location.
A picnic will be provided en route. We will then change
direction, heading away from the coast towards the
Castor and Pollux lakes. The change in scenery is
remarkable; going from lush rainforest to deciduous
forest to pampa land.
There will be many opportunities to observe migratory
birds. From there we will return to Coyhaique.
